How much does the barn cost to rent?
Our venue only packages for 2024 & 2025 are £5000 & £5500 respectively.
How many people can the barn hold?
The barn can comfortably accommodate 100-150 people for a wedding breakfast depending on your chosen layout.
What catering facilities are there within the barn?
The barn has an adjoining ‘preparation and storage’ area equipped with fridges, freezers, electrical points and tables. We usually recommend caterers provide their own gas cooking equipment.
Does the barn have toilet facilities?
The barn has an adjoining toilet block consisting of two male cubicles, two female cubicles and one accesible / shower room. The toilets our beautifully presented using our very own quirky style.
Is Hilltop Barn licensed to hold wedding ceremonies?
Unfortunately, at present we are not licensed to hold official ceremonies.
One of the best weddings we have hosted was an ‘exchange of vows’ wedding. They chose to have an official ceremony at a registrars the day before with only close friends and family present. They then exchanged vows overlooking the cheshire countryside from within our marquee! This not only led to an extremely intimate wedding but it meant they got to get married twice!

How many people are able to camp?
Hilltop Barn is part of a 98 acre working farm, so there is ample space! If you are expecting to have over 10 tents let us know and we will let you know the various options available.
How much time do we have to tidy up after the wedding?
We realise that the last thing you want to do with your first day of married life is clear up, so we are as flexible as possible. Depending on our other bookings we give you up to a week!
People tend to want to get it done and dusted as soon as possible, and are generally gone by 2pm the next day!
Do we have to tidy up the Barn ourselves?
If you would rather leave the cleaning to someone else, you are more than welsome to hire a cleaning company. Please be aware that you will need to remove all your personal items before they are able to start and you will be held responsible if the barn is not returned in a satisfactory standard.
Can we have a firework display or release chinese lanterns?
We prefer not to have firework displays at Hilltop Barn in order to reduce disturbance on local residents (mainly farm animals!). We do not approve of chinese lanterns as they litter the surrounding countryside and harm local wildlife.
What time does the party stop?
Legally loud music has to stop at midnight, however we dont mind guests quietly drinking by the fire until the early hours.
