Your Catering

Unlike other venues, we have declined the lucrative offers made by catering companies and haved decided to let you choose whoever you want!

We find that most of our couples tend to ditch the traditional three course meal and go for something more food festival! In our experience, this approach tends to result in a menu more suited to mass catering, a more relaxed atmoshpere and healthier bank accounts!

If you are struggling to find a suitable caterer or are daunted by the prospect, feel free to get in touch and we can point you in the direction of some who have previously delivered a fantastic service up at the barn… 

Your Tables & Chairs

We believe that the choice of tables and chairs has the largest impact on the overall appearance of a wedding. As a result, we have decided to give you complete freedom, letting you choose the style you want.

Your Decor

We give you exclusive access to the venue a week before your big day. This gives you the opportunity to add a personal touch by decorating the barn with the help of your loved ones.

Over the years, many of our couples have left us spare decorations which we have combined into a prop cupboard open to everyone – there is everything from hesian table runners to silver birch name place holders.

Your Accommodation

For the brave hearted, there is ample space for guests to camp on the farm, however, we also recognize that it’s not for everyone! Within a short drive, there is a host of hotels and Airbnb’s to suit all budgets, some of which are shown below:

Our Community

We have set up a Facebook group that all our couples are encouraged to join.  We use the group to communicate barn updates, share information and answer queries.

The platform also gives our couples the opportunity to connect with others who have similar taste and have had or are going to have a wedding up at Hilltop. 

In the past, people have used the group as a support network, often asking for advice on things like suppliers and furniture layouts.  It works really well and helps create that community feel we are after!
